| Between the wharf and the yacht club, overlooking the boats at anchor in the bay, is a lawned area with shade trees, bench seats, a small sandy beach, free electric barbecues, children’s playground and toilets. |

| The wharf is used by commercial fishing boats for unloading their catch and is ideal for family fishing. |
|
On the eastern side of the wharf and boat slipway are steps leading down to a shaded sandy beach with a marked area for swimming with a pontoon in the deeper water.
The Oyster Walk meanders along the length of the foreshore from Longbeach prior to either heading up to the lookout, from where you can survey the town and extensive system of bays, or continue on to Old Oyster Town. |
